scrummaging rugby

The Rugby Championship consists of a series rugby tournaments held in the southern half of the earth. It is contested each year by four teams from the Southern Hemisphere: South Africa (New Zealand), Australia (Argentina), and Argentina (Argentina). Each year, the team that has the most points wins. This is determined via a bonus-point system. A team may earn a bonus points if it scores four or more attempts. If a team loses by a few points, the team can still gain a bonus point.

A total of eight teams will qualify for the play-offs. The four pools in which the teams will be seeded are called "pools of four". In the semi-finals the top four teams will take on each other. The winner in the play-offs will progress to the Final Match. During the play-offs, teams will play each other home and away. They will also play other teams in their pool twice.

The final will take places at a designated venue. The winner will be crowned champion. The final will usually be a knockout. Despite this, the final can sometimes be a close game. Usually, players will play the hardest 80 minutes of their lives in order to earn the prize.

The four regional pools where teams are drawn are the Welsh Pool, the Italian Pool, and South African Pool. These pools are the South African Pool, the Italian Pool and the Welsh Pool. Each team plays at least six times per season. Some of these matches can be called derby games.

Before the 2011-2012 season, the Rugby Championship was referred to as the Tri Nations. The title became The Rugby Championship, however, when Argentina was included in the tournament. The event has become much more popular since the inclusion of these two countries. Although it is controversial, the tournament has seen a wider audience.

Each tournament takes places in a different country. The competition is held every year and starts in July. The Rugby Championship is not like the Six Nations which is a country-specific competition. New Zealand has won most of the Rugby Championship titles, beating out all other teams. The All Blacks and Springboks have won seven titles each, while the All Blacks have won three.

There are several broadcasting networks that cover the tournament. Setanta Sports covers it across the United States and Canada. Eurosport is an important European provider of coverage.
